Willem Arondeus (Willem Johan Cornelis Arondeus; 1894 1943) was an openly gay Dutch artist and author who was arrested and executed by firing squad for his involvement in bombing the Amsterdam Public Records Office to protect Dutch Jews on behalf of the Dutch anti Nazi resistance movement during World War Two. Excellent condition.
